30 days to change your mind on unopened fragrance and unworn clothing. Damaged or wrong item? We cover the return shipping.
Our promise
Every fragrance and garment leaves our boutique inspected and authentic. If something arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, we'll make it right.
30-day return window
You may return any item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided it meets the conditions below. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days of us receiving the return.
Conditions
- Fragrance: Must be unopened, with the original cellophane wrap or factory seal intact. Once a bottle is sprayed or the seal is broken, we cannot accept a return for hygiene and authenticity reasons.
- Clothing: Must be unworn, unwashed, with all original tags attached. No deodorant marks, perfume, smoke, or pet hair.
- Sale items and final-sale items: Clearly marked at checkout, these are not eligible for return.
Damaged or wrong items
If your order arrived damaged in transit, or if you received the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@carterscollections.com with photos. We'll send a prepaid return label and ship a replacement at no cost, or issue a full refund — your choice.
How to start a return
- Email support@carterscollections.com with your order number and a brief reason for the return.
- We'll reply within 1 business day with return instructions and a return address.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it back. We recommend tracked shipping — we cannot refund items lost on the return journey.
- Once received and inspected (1–2 business days), we'll process your refund.
Return shipping costs
- Damaged, defective, or wrong item: We cover return shipping with a prepaid label.
- Change of mind: Customer covers return shipping.
Exchanges
We don't process direct exchanges — instead, return the original item for a refund and place a new order. This is the fastest way to get the item you actually want.
International returns
International customers follow the same process. You're responsible for return shipping costs and any duties on the return journey. Refunds are issued in USD to your original payment method; your bank handles currency conversion.
